Cary Mogerman Receives AAML Honor
Our partner Cary Mogerman, along with his friend and colleague Elizabeth Green Lindsey of Atlanta, Georgia, were named AAML “Fellows of the Year” by Madeline Marzano-Lesnevich, President of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, on November 9 during the Academy’s annual meeting in Chicago, Illinois.
Cary has been a Fellow of the AAML since September 1995. He is a past-president of its Missouri Chapter, and presently serves on the executive committee of the national organization as a second vice president. He has worked in tandem with Ms. Lindsey, First Vice President of the Academy, on a number of Academy projects during the past year, including co-chairing the Academy’s Negotiation Seminar Committee and its 2018 Long Range Planning Exercise and Retreat, as well as assisted with teaching responsibilities at the Academy’s annual Institute for Family Law Associates.
The presentation was a surprise to both honorees and occurred during the annual dinner dance, as Ms. Marzano-Lesnevich concluded her term as President of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
