Melody E. Noel
Ms. Noel received her law degree from St. Louis University School of Law in 1985. She was admitted to the Missouri Bar that same year and practiced with the firm of Rothman, Sokol, Adler, Barry and Sarachan, concentrating her practice in the area of family law, including divorce and adoptions. In 1993 she moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, where she practiced with the firm of Maurer, Rifkin & Hill, P.C., again concentrating in the the area of family law. During that time she founded the Marion County Domestic Violence Coordinating Council, and in this capacity developed and wrote domestic violence protocols for all law enforcement entities in Marion County Indiana. In 2002 she returned to St. Louis with her husband, Dr. Jeffrey P. Bonner, President and CEO of the St. Louis Zoo, and re-established her family law practice with the firm of Zerman Mogerman LLC. Ms. Noel is a member of the Missouri and Indiana Bar Associations and several local bar associations. She has lectured on various family law related subjects including Full Faith and Credit Issues in Domestic Violence Cases and has trained attorneys participating in the Marion County, Indiana Domestic Violence Pro Bono Project.
